Choconilla [Legacy]

A Blend of Biomes and Diverse Ideas!

Choconilla [Legacy] mod presents a unique combination of new biomes, materials, and mechanics that expand Minecraft gameplay. This is an evolving project that brings together original concepts not found in other modifications.

Main Features

New Materials and Resources:

• Kohakutou - edible crystals that generate underground as geodes. These formations contain diorite and smooth basalt

• Vinylium - decorative material with gray-black color, resembling quartz but with musical properties. Available in various forms: regular blocks, smooth blocks, pillars, chiseled and brick varieties, as well as slabs and stairs

• Titanium - durable metal used for creating utility items and tools

Music System:

• Disc Burner - special block for creating music discs. Crafting requires a blank disc, two dyes, and a special item (only for some discs)
• Over 30 new music discs for different dimensions
• Music Shrines - underground structures with chests containing discs

New Tools:

• Pitchfork - tool for moving grass between blocks
• Knife - allows cutting food into pieces (for example, Notch apples into four parts with quarter effects)

Biomes and Mobs:

• Floral Fields - biome with huge variety of flowers of all shapes and sizes
• Additions to mushroom biomes with new mushroom types
• Yammonsters - yam and monster hybrids that shoot plant pellets
• Flying beets - hovering mobs found in forests

Food and Plants:

• Various edible mushrooms with unique effects
• Yams and baked yams
• Candy corn, marshmallows and other sweets
• Cloud berries and new flower types

Technical Improvements

The mod has received numerous fixes and enhancements:

• Updated titanium block and painting textures
• Fixed duplicate items in creative menu
• Improved nitro-mushroom harvesting mechanics
• Fixed floating kohakutou crystals issue
• Changed music shrine loot tables
• Added ability to use flowers in suspicious stew

Future Plans

The developer plans to add several unique biomes:

• Christmas Crag - snowy mountain biome with Christmas theme
• Creeper Forest - forest with peat moss and sandbox trees
• Tropics - biome with mango, palms, banana monkeys and toucans
• Rainbow Desert - desert with rainbow sand stripes
• Poison Bog - dangerous swamp with toxic plants and slimes

Compatibility

The mod is compatible with most popular modifications and is constantly updated. Some features are temporarily disabled for rework, but the developer is actively working on improving the project.
