Chunky

The Chunky mod is designed for pre-generating chunks in Minecraft - quickly, efficiently, and safely.

Main Features

Create one or multiple chunk generation tasks simultaneously to maximize CPU utilization. You can pause generation tasks, saving progress for future continuation. The mod displays detailed information: number of processed chunks, completion percentage, estimated time remaining, chunk processing rate, and other useful metrics.

Custom world shapes are supported along with optional world border integration when the ChunkyBorder addon is installed.

Permission Requirements

To use Chunky, you must either be an operator on a dedicated server (for which an administrator must run the op <username> command from the server console) or be in a singleplayer world. In older versions, enabling cheats during world creation or via the "Open to LAN" function may be required.

Command Management

Task Management

• chunky start - starts a new generation task from the current selection
• chunky pause - pauses current tasks and saves progress
• chunky continue - continues execution of current or saved tasks
• chunky cancel - stops tasks and cancels progress

Selection Configuration

• chunky world [world] - selects the current world
• chunky shape - sets the generation shape
• chunky center [ ] - sets the center point
• chunky radius - sets the radius
• chunky worldborder - configures center and radius according to world borders
• chunky spawn - sets the center at the spawn point
• chunky corners - defines area by corner coordinates
• chunky pattern - sets the preferred generation pattern
• chunky selection - displays the current selected area

Additional Commands

• chunky silent - toggles update message display
• chunky quiet - sets quiet interval in seconds
• chunky progress - shows pre-generation progress
• chunky reload - reloads configuration
• chunky trim - deletes chunks outside the selected area

Generate chunks in a square centered at 0,0 in the overworld with 1000 block radius
