Circuitry
Circuitry is a modification inspired by the logic networks from the game Factorio. This mod allows you to create complex automation systems that surpass the capabilities of standard redstone.
Basic Controls
Circuit Debugger - a special tool for viewing values in the network connected to a wire pole. To switch between network colors, use Shift + Right-click in the air, then right-click again to view another network.
Wires - connect circuit elements. Use Shift + Right-click to connect/disconnect, Right-click on any object or Shift + Right-click in the air to break the connection.
Signal Card - creates virtual signals. Select the desired signal and place it in the appropriate slot.
Condition Configurator - configures blocks that operate only under conditions. Currently supports only redstone outputs.
Working with Signal Slots
Left-click on a slot to cycle between special signals (all/any/each). To clear a slot, use Shift + Left-click.
Compatibility with Factorio
The principles of logic networks in Factorio easily transfer to Circuitry. Main similarities:
- Redstone output works similarly to the smart inserter
- IItemHandler inventories (most modded inventories) function like smart chests
- Wire poles serve as power poles
Differences from Factorio
- Item signals are selected by placing an item in the slot
- Virtual signals are configured through signal cards
- Special signals are selected by left-clicking on an empty slot
- Slot clearing is done via Shift + Left-click
The mod was created for the Modoff competition in April 2017.
