About the Modification

The Claustrophobic Dungeons mod adds numerous diverse underground structures to the game that are fundamentally different from conventional dungeons. The origin of these constructions remains a mystery, but one thing is clear - their creators were of rather modest size.

Key Features

The dungeons offer players a unique exploration experience with narrow passages where you'll often need to move while sneaking. To traverse certain sections, you'll need to use hatches, pistons, dripleaves, and water.

You'll encounter numerous traps, hidden rooms, mini-parkour, and secrets. Danger can lurk in the most unexpected places, so always carry a pickaxe and sword with you.

The archaeology system offers only valuable finds - no trash like clay shards! Over 125 different corridors organically integrate into the cave landscape and look different each time thanks to the jigsaw block system.

Complete randomization of blocks, ores, and chest contents ensures you can never predict the reward or count on repeating your luck. Breaking through slabs and walls is far from always a wise strategy.

Carefully selected resources maintain game balance, while well-thought-out construction elements demonstrate interesting redstone mechanisms and traps.

Technical Features

The modification is perfectly suited for modpacks - all data can be easily modified through datapacks. You can configure loot tables, tags, block replacement, and much more. Essentially, this is a datapack packaged as a mod for convenience.

Claustrophobic Dungeons operates server-side - when playing multiplayer, your friends won't need to install this mod. Functionality is also preserved in single-player games.

Full compatibility with popular world generation mods is ensured. Nether blocks are absent in the overworld, preserving vanilla progression. Square platforms are minimized within the capabilities of vanilla mechanics.

To locate any structure, use the command: /locate structure claustrophobic_dungeons:classic

Installation and Compatibility

Installation is performed as for a regular mod or datapack. The main version is developed for Minecraft 1.21.1 - older versions may contain unexpected errors, missing doors, hatches, and other issues.

The mod is fully compatible with any other structure modifications and most world generation mods.
