Clay WorldGen
I developed a small but useful modification that changes the natural world generation process in Minecraft. The essence of this modification is that clay will now appear underground in the same way as gravel and various ores do.
Configurable Parameters
The modification offers extensive customization options for clay generation. You can independently define the minimum and maximum size of clay veins, set the height at which these formations will appear, and establish the frequency of vein generation in each world chunk.

Creation Idea
The modification was born from the desire to solve one of the common problems in the vanilla game version. Many players are familiar with the situation where building a base far from water bodies creates serious difficulties in finding clay. Diving to the bottom of rivers and lakes in search of this resource can also be inconvenient. Now this problem is solved - clay is available for extraction right underground.
Compatibility
This modification pairs perfectly with Tinkers Construct, as it simplifies the creation of smelting structures through easier access to clay as a resource. Modified game versions from 1.7 to 1.18 inclusive.
