Clear Void

This simple mod removes the black bottom half of the skybox that appears at low Y coordinate values. Particularly useful for players who prefer skyblock-style modes and floating islands.

How it works

In the standard version of Minecraft when exploring worlds with floating islands, you'll notice that the bottom half of the skybox (the void) suddenly turns black when you descend below Y=58. This can be irritating.

Clear Void solves this problem. The void will no longer suddenly turn black. Instead, it will gradually darken when descending below Y=-32, creating a smoother and more natural visual effect.

Development plans

The mod will maintain its simplicity and functionality to match its name. New features will not be added. Use the GitHub issue tracking system to report bugs.

Backporting to older game versions is not planned. Currently, the mod does not support versions 1.21.1 and newer, but the developer intends to release an update in the future.
