Client Dynamic Light

The Client Dynamic Light mod operates entirely on the client side and allows you to configure the glow of items/blocks in hands, as well as entities such as charged creepers, blazes, and others. Currently available only for version 1.7.10, but porting to newer versions is planned for the future!
By default, the mod creates two configuration files in the config/clientdynamiclight folder: config_nodes.json and config_entities.json. These contain the basic settings for blocks that should glow in hands and entities that should glow or be on fire. Check out the demonstration video below!
The mod still has some issues with correctly updating lighting

Basic Configuration


You can freely customize the glow of entities and items/blocks in hands.
Special Parameters
There are two special parameters in the configuration:
- "burningDefault": Determines the level of light/brightness that a burning entity should emit. This is a global parameter affecting all burning entities.
- "special": "creeper_charged": Special case for charged creepers. If you specify "creeper_charged" in the special key, only charged creepers will glow. More special cases like this are planned to be added in the future.
