CloneLand

The CloneLand mod introduces a unique parallel dimensions mechanic, which are exact copies of the regular world and the Nether. You can instantly travel between these dimensions at any time using special items.

How to Enter the Clone World

The main element for traveling between dimensions is the Dimensional Core. However, it doesn't work by itself - it must be placed in a special container. You can create such a container yourself!

Using this core, you can create the CloneLand Teleporter - one of the possible containers for the core.

The item takes 1/150 of maximum durability damage with each use. Durability and damage values can be changed in the mod settings.

The second way to travel between dimensions is through the Clone Portal Block. When placing this block, a copy is created in both dimensions (both copies disappear when one is broken to prevent abuse). You can right-click it to switch dimensions. This block has unlimited uses, but its creation requires more resources.

Practical Applications

You can build two houses in the same location but with different contents in each dimension. While mining resources, switching between dimensions allows you to get double the ores. If you're trapped and surrounded by hostile mobs, switching dimensions will instantly free you. This mechanic is also excellent for creating puzzle maps where switching between dimensions is the key to completing levels.
