Cobblemon Alpha Project
Important Note: This mod is in early development stage. Expect changes and new content additions in the future. Development roadmap can be found in the "Development Plans" section at the end of this description.
The Cobblemon Alpha Project mod introduces Alpha Pokemon from the Legends: Arceus edition with several unique features! These alpha creatures retain most characteristics from the original game:
- Feature increased size compared to regular Pokemon
- Possess three maximum IV stats (configurable via settings file)
- Specially marked with icons in both party and storage interface
Additional features that make these alphas unique:
- Escort group of other Pokemon following the alpha (can be disabled in settings)
- Special particle effects and sound cues when approaching the alpha
- Chance to unlock hidden abilities
In the current version, Alpha status applies to all final evolution stages or non-evolving Pokemon excluding fossil variants and eevee evolution forms. For details on modifying existing alphas or adding new ones, see below.
Currently, two locations naturally spawn in game worlds:
- Subterranean Alpha Den
- Plains Alpha Den
Each den contains an alpha spawn mechanism that guarantees creation of a single Pokemon before self-destruction. Mechanics inspired by boss spawn systems from Apotheosis modification.
Implementation of additional similar locations is planned for the future.

The mod's configuration offers comprehensive personalization options. Key parameters include:
