Cobblemon Capture Border
This mod adapts the unique mechanic of limiting game space specifically for Minecraft pokemon encounters. The original concept was inspired by a datapack from EpicBuilderHD on PlanetMinecraft, where the world border size increased when the character gained experience levels. We've reworked this idea using the capabilities of our side mod Cobblemon Counter.
Developer's Opinion: While working with pokemon encounters in Minecraft, I noticed that searching for and capturing new species creates a natural rhythm of world exploration. This modification turns the process of catching pokemon into an exciting tool for expanding available space.
Key Feature
Every successful capture of a new pokemon in Cobblemon automatically expands the world borders. You start with minimal territory that gradually grows along with your collection.
Technical details of the modification:
- Automatic world border expansion
- Initially limited starting zone
- Independent growth based on captured species
- Compatibility with proper pokemon counting system
