Colored Displays!

Tired of mundane redstone lamp displays? Want to add color and variety to your redstone projects? This mod is perfect for you! Colored Displays! adds special blocks to Minecraft that function similarly to redstone lamps but change their color based on the strength of the received redstone signal.

Color Display Block

Colored blocks

The color palette of the blocks corresponds to Minecraft's standard dye palette. The intensity of the redstone signal directly determines the displayed color. With zero signal strength or in a resting state, the block remains black. The signal-to-color mapping is as follows:

  • Signal 0 → Black
  • Signal 1 → Gray
  • Signal 2 → Light Gray
  • Signal 3 → Red
  • Signal 4 → Orange
  • Signal 5 → Yellow
  • Signal 6 → Green
  • Signal 7 → Lime
  • Signal 8 → Blue
  • Signal 9 → Cyan
  • Signal 10 → Light Blue
  • Signal 11 → Purple
  • Signal 12 → Magenta
  • Signal 13 → Pink
  • Signal 14 → Brown
  • Signal 15 → White

Mono Display Block

Monochrome block

In addition to the colored variants, the mod also includes monochrome display blocks. These blocks function similarly to the colored ones but instead offer 16 different shades of gray. The same principle applies: a stronger redstone signal results in a lighter block shade. A signal strength of 0 produces black (notably, a signal strength of 1 produces an even darker black), while the maximum signal of 15 turns the block white.

Please note: This mod is currently under active development, so some technical issues may occur.
