SIHYWTCAMC - Minecraft Combat System Enhancement
This mod fundamentally improves Minecraft's combat mechanics. While it includes some elements from the Java Combat update snapshots, the main goal is not just to copy these features, but to create a balanced and interesting combat system with original mechanics.
Key Features
Weapons and Tools
One of the main features is the ability to configure characteristics of any weapons and tools: damage, attack speed, and even range! This works with both vanilla items and most tools from other mods.
Shield
- Now enchantable on the enchanting table (gets unbreaking)
- Protection angle reduced from 180 to 120 degrees
- Shield absorbs up to 5 damage points, remaining damage passes through
- Explosions are still completely blocked
- Removed usage delay - can block instantly
Axe
- Added cooldown after attacking with axe before using shield
- And vice versa - cooldown after shield before attacking with axe
Bow and Crossbow
- Power enchantment weakened - Power 5 now corresponds to vanilla Power 3
- Changed enchantment compatibility for balance
Flint and Steel
When used on an entity, sets it on fire for 3 seconds, after which it attacks you.
Food and Potions
- Eating and drinking potions is interrupted when taking damage
- Potions are consumed faster
- Non-throwable potions stack up to 16
- Splash and lingering potions also stack up to 16, but with 5-second cooldown
- Milk buckets stack up to 16
Snowballs and Eggs
- When thrown by a player, knock back other players without dealing damage
- Knockback can be blocked with shield
- Added small cooldown
Important: The mod is fully configurable - you can enable only the changes you like!
