This modification offers two useful features to simplify gameplay:

Quick shield access - a special hotkey allows you to instantly retrieve a shield from your inventory and switch it to your off-hand. By default, it uses the standard shield or Tinkers Construct battlesign. The quick access key is assigned to the backslash (\).

Configuration saving system - you can memorize up to three different item sets for the main hotbar and off-hand. For example, save a resource gathering set with torches in the off-hand using the Ctrl+Numpad7 combination. Then create a combat configuration with a shield and weapons, saving it to Ctrl+Numpad8. Switching between saved sets is done by simply pressing Numpad7 or Numpad8.

The modification is fully compatible with any modpacks.
