🛡️ Combat Properties

The CombatProperties mod introduces six custom combat attributes into Minecraft. These attributes form three interactive pairs of mechanics that directly influence each other.

Crucially, the default value for every new attribute is zero. This means they will have no practical effect without additional steps, such as using its API or applying specific attribute modifiers.

The mod also provides configuration options to disable the vanilla game's inherent shield blocking and critical hit mechanics.

Attribute Descriptions

• Block – a chance to mitigate incoming attack damage.
• Penetration – a counter-stat that reduces the effectiveness of Block.
• Crit – a chance to deal critical damage on a successful hit.
• Crit Resistance – a counter-stat that lowers the chance of receiving a critical hit.
• Evasion – a chance to dodge an incoming attack entirely.
• Accuracy – a counter-stat that negates Evasion, making attacks more likely to land.
