Companions!
The Companions! mod adds to Minecraft 10 tameable companion creatures with unique abilities, hostile mobs with special skills, new weapons, a boss, and much more.
Main Features
The mod offers diverse companions that can be tamed and will accompany you on adventures. Each companion has special abilities and can be in three states: free movement, sitting, and following the player.
Healing Companions
Your companions can be healed using Small and Great Essence, obtained by killing hostile mobs. Summoned companions (those called by other companions) cannot be healed.
Settings
The mod has extensive settings through the configuration file, allowing you to adapt it to your playstyle.
Blocks and Items
The Great Chalice
Crafted similarly to a cauldron but using copper ingots. Can be filled with Great or Small Essence obtained from monsters. When the chalice is completely full, you can create a filled Grail, needed for some recipes.
Soul Furnace
A special furnace that can be activated by placing a Chalice on top and filling it. Transforms various items into their soul-like counterparts, for example, big bread can be turned into a strange croissant "egg".
Frog Bonanza
A bonanza in the shape of a frog. Unfortunately, it doesn't offer color rewards.
Voltaic Pillar
A component of the Tesla network. Creates a continuous current between pillars of the same height. Not recommended to touch - high voltage can shock anything it doesn't like.
Recall Platform
A teleportation platform that allows travel only between platforms within the same Tesla network. Designed as an intuitive alternative to fast travel.
Voltaic Relay
Creates and extends temporary current to connected nodes. Similar to a redstone repeater.
Plasma Lamp
Emits light when connected to current.
Tesla Coil
Creates temporary current to connected nodes.
Respawn Totem
Crafted from items dropped by the mod's boss. When activated with an Hourglass, allows tamed entities within its radius to revive a limited number of times. Also used to summon Cloak and Mankh.
Empty Puppet
Used to obtain the Puppet companion when interacting with a tamed Magic Glove.
Shade Maw Altar
Altar for summoning the Shade Maw. Activated with Crystallized Blood.
Shade Sword Altar
Altar for summoning the Shade Sword. Activated with Crystallized Blood.
Items
Hourglass
Changes the state of a tamed Antlion and activates the Respawn Totem.
Antlion Fur
Unpleasant to the touch fur that burns.
Big Bread
Cooking in the Soul Furnace produces a croissant egg, which hatches into a Croissant Dragon.
Croissant Dragon Armor
Various armor types for the Croissant Dragon:
- Vanilla armor - grants resistance
- Chocolate armor - grants speed
- Strawberry armor - grants regeneration
Homunculus
Remnant of alchemists, used in recipes.
Croissant Egg
Must be placed on the ground to hatch.
Wrench
Connects Tesla network components and controls Dinamo's attacks.
Mage Staff
Transforms the Golden Allay into a Soul Mage.

Various magic books with unique spells:
- Magic Ray Book - fires a magic beam
- Black Hole Book - creates a black hole
- Stone Spikes Book - creates stone spikes
- Ice Tornado Book - creates an ice tornado
- Ice Shard Book - creates ice crystals
- Heal Ring Book - heals allies and damages undead
- Fire Mark Book - marks enemies with fire
- Brace Book - fires a spark that jumps between enemies
- Naginata Book - summons naginatas from the sky

- Copper coin - in the Overworld
- Nether coin - in the Nether
- End coin - in the End

- Netherite chains - lock Minion's phase
- Demon flesh - dropped by Nether mobs
- Old cloth - dropped by the boss
- Relic gold - dropped by the boss
- Interchangeable Puppet arms - various attack types
- Crystallized blood - for charging altars and taming
- Mutant flesh - teleports when looking at an entity
- Needle - for taming Teddy
- Eternal lighter - creates eternal fire
- Shadow bell - links to an altar
- Music disc - boss music
- Soul gem - created in the Soul Furnace
Companions
Dinamo
Generates electricity. Attacks enemies and powers Tesla network components.
Antlion
Has four cyclical phases with different abilities.
Soul Mage
Uses magic books for attacks. Living Candle protects it from lethal damage.
Croissant Dragon
Slows down enemies. Armor provides various effects.
Cloak
Fires sacred stars and can become invisible.
Mankh
Creates a fire ring and shoots a laser.
Cornelius
Casino dealer, summons entities for coins.
Minion
Changes form depending on the dimension.
Puppet
Obtained from the Magic Glove, requires arm installation.
