Compass Tracker
This datapack transforms regular Minecraft into an exciting chase game where any number of hunters can track any number of runners across all three dimensions of the world.
How to Start the Game
Join the runners team using the command /team join Runner. To distribute tracking compasses to all other participants, use /function manhunt:start. Game settings are accessible via the /trigger manhunt-options command.

Key Features
Multiple Participants
The system supports unlimited numbers of both hunters and runners. Each hunter receives a compass that points to the runner closest to them.
Life System
Runners can have a configurable number of lives. After losing their last life, the player switches to spectator mode, adding a strategic element to the game.
Automatic Updates
The compass automatically updates direction when held in hand. If there are targets to track in your dimension, the compass provides visual feedback and retains the last target.
End Game Completion
The "Cornucopia Endgame" feature prevents the runners team from splitting up. All living runners must reach the End to damage the dragon. Upon reaching the End, runners are reduced to one life, and the End portal becomes a trackable target for compasses.

Installation
Download the latest version of the datapack. The file does not need to be extracted. Move it to the SERVER_ROOT/WORLD/datapacks/ folder, where SERVER_ROOT is the server folder and WORLD is the world folder. In singleplayer, open the world folder through the edit menu in Minecraft's world selection list and move the file to the datapacks folder.
Ensure the datapack is activated using /datapack list, then execute /reload (or /minecraft:reload on Bukkit-based servers) for proper loading of all components.
