Configurable Everything
The Configurable Everything mod provides the ability to customize almost every aspect of the Minecraft game. It's a powerful tool for modpack creators and an exciting opportunity for regular players to experiment with game mechanics.
Main Configuration Capabilities
Using modern configuration serialization technologies based on datapacks, the mod opens access to fine-tuning numerous game parameters. Among the elements available for modification:
- Changing biome characteristics
- Biome placement in the world
- Data fixing
- Loading screen texts
- Default entity attributes
- Fluid flow speeds
- Screen shaking effects
- Surface formation rules
- Day-night cycle speed
Datapack Support
The mod offers two ways to work with datapacks, each of which can be disabled if necessary:
-
In the Configurable Everything configuration folder, there's a special "datapacks" directory where you can place datapacks that will be automatically applied to all worlds.
-
Datapacks can extend the functionality of configuration files. For example, they can be used to add and remove biomes using the same mechanisms as in biome placement settings, without the need to overwrite dimension data.
Kotlin Scripts
For advanced users, Kotlin script support is available. This feature requires the Fabric Kotlin Extensions mod to function. Kotlin scripts provide almost unlimited possibilities for interacting with the entire game code, including all installed mods and libraries.
Detailed information about working with scripts is available in the project wiki.
