Configurable KeepInventory
This mod offers a more flexible alternative to the standard game function of keeping inventory after death. Instead of enabling a mode where absolutely all items remain with you, here you get detailed control over what exactly should be preserved.
Main Features
In the basic configuration, the mod retains the player's most important equipment elements: items on the hotbar (slots 0-8), items in the off-hand, a complete set of armor (helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots), as well as accumulated experience points and score. If desired, the list of preserved positions can be expanded by adding numbers of other slots to the configuration file.
Flexible Settings
Unlike the standard game command, this mod doesn't make the game too easy. You can activate the preservation of potion effects, saturation level, or hunger indicator. For example, if a character dies from starvation, they automatically regain +1 saturation unit by default to prevent instant repeated death situations.
Important Feature
All settings of this mod are automatically disabled if the standard game command for keeping inventory is active. This prevents conflicts and ensures predictable game behavior.
Compatibility
The mod works correctly with popular additions like Quark, Gravestone Mod coffins, and Enigmatic Graves. To work with interface elements from other mods, specifying the corresponding slot identifiers may be required.
