Consecration - The Undead Destruction Modification

The Consecration mod fundamentally transforms the game mechanics, turning all undead creatures into more resilient opponents. Regular damage becomes nearly useless against zombies, skeletons, and the Wither - they now possess enhanced survivability and regeneration abilities. However, they have developed a vulnerability: they are weak to fire and holy damage.

New Threat and Countermeasures

The undead have received significant buffs. Mobs regenerate health and resist most types of attacks. Their vulnerability manifests only to two damage types: fire and holy. It's important to note that Nether inhabitants maintain their fire immunity, so you'll need to use exclusively holy attacks against them.

Fire Stick

A simple but effective early-game weapon. The Fire Stick doesn't deal additional damage but sets enemies on fire for 2 seconds - enough time to remove the undead's protection. Remember: the tool has a limit of 13 uses.

Fire Arrows

Fire arrows function similarly to regular ones but ignite targets upon impact. The perfect choice for those who prefer ranged attacks.

Potion of Consecration

This divine potion is specifically designed for destroying the undead. It not only strips the undead of their supernatural abilities but also provides positive effects to whoever drinks it. The strength of effects depends on the recipe used.

To create the basic potion, you need an Awkward Potion and a Golden Apple. For the enhanced version, add Glowstone Dust. To use against enemies, convert the potion into splash or lingering versions using Gunpowder or Dragon's Breath respectively.

Undead Protection Enchantment

Armor with this enchantment reduces damage from undead attacks. Works similarly to regular protective enchantments and doesn't combine with them, except for Feather Falling.
