Consistent Shift
The Consistent Shift mod solves a common problem with item organization in Minecraft. If you're tired of unpredictable behavior when dragging items between containers, this modification makes the process clear and logical.
🎯 Core Functionality
The developer changed the Shift+Click system so that items always move left to right - exactly as it happens in your inventory. This works with absolutely all containers:
- Chests
- Furnaces
- Crafting tables
- Any other storage blocks
⚠️ Known Issue
Currently, one feature remains: when using Shift + double-click (Pickup All) in containers, the game's standard logic applies. Instead of the clear left to right direction, items are placed right to left.
Expected behavior (Consistent Shift):
[Hotbar 1] → [Hotbar 2] → … → [Hotbar 9] → [Main Inventory Left → Right]
Current reality (bug):
[Hotbar 9] → [Hotbar 8] → … → [Hotbar 1] → [Main Inventory Right → Left]
