Construct's Armory
Construct's Armory is an expansion module for Tinkers' Construct that enhances equipment crafting capabilities by adding four types of protective elements: helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots. Similar to tools from the main mod, these armor pieces can be fully customized by combining different materials to create unique protective sets.
Getting Started
All necessary information is contained in the in-game book titled "Materials and You - Armory Addendum". If your game is configured to automatically provide the "Materials and You" book upon starting, you will receive this addendum simultaneously. Otherwise, the crafting recipe is quite simple:

This book contains detailed information about new workstations for armor creation - the Armor Station and Armor Forge, as well as information about material characteristics and available modifiers.
Note for version 1.16.5 Alpha: The in-game book has not yet been implemented in this version.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Can support for modifiers from other mods be added? Answer: No. While technically possible, I consciously refuse such implementation. Supporting one mod will inevitably lead to the need to support all others, which would significantly increase the workload and could result in feature bloat. I consider it more logical when other mods independently add compatibility with our system.
Question: Are different armor types planned? Answer: No. Armor doesn't have the same degree of variability as tools, and all possible differences are already accounted for in the traits and modifiers system. However, other developers can create cosmetic alternatives through additional modules.
Question: Is there integration with other Tinkers' Construct add-ons? Answer: Only with Tinkers' Tool Leveling. Other add-ons must independently ensure compatibility, as I prefer to focus on the basic functionality of the main mod.
Question: Can armor be dyed? Answer: Unfortunately, no. This feature was initially planned, but technical limitations prevented the correct implementation of the dyeing mechanism.
Question: Will shields be added? Answer: No. Shields by their nature are closer to tools than armor, and the existing battlesigns in Tinkers' Construct already fulfill this role well.
