
Convenient Name Tags
Enhanced Name Tag Functionality
Have you ever wished that using name tags could be more convenient? This mod is designed specifically for that purpose! It introduces several useful improvements to name tag mechanics.
Main Feature: Renaming Interface
Now, when you right-click with a name tag in your main hand, a special window appears allowing you to change the name tag's text without needing to use an anvil.
Additional Features
- Added a crafting recipe for creating name tags
- Enabled the ability to rename villagers and wandering traders
- Renamed mobs now drop their name tags when you:
- kill them;
- apply another name tag to them;
- use shears while holding the Shift key.
Configuration
Mod configuration is handled through the config/convenientnametags.json5
file. The following settings are available:
