Defeating Farlanders provides players with 1-2 lens items that unlock Mob Vision - effectively granting x-ray vision for locating hostile creatures.
When these entities teleport away during combat through slipping, they might randomly drop Farlander Pearls on escape. These pearls have dual use as throwable projectiles or crafting components for creating specialized smoker blocks.
