CopperTools — A Fresh Take on Crafting Tools

CopperTools is a straightforward, open-source mod that lets you craft tools, armor, and sickles not only from traditional materials, but also from resources introduced by other various add-ons. It includes well-known metals like copper and silver—common in almost any modpack—along with specific materials from particular mods (e.g., compressed iron from PneumaticCraft). Each material has unique properties so none feel redundant.

For instance: copper tools aren't as sturdy as iron ones and can't mine diamonds, but enchant better and mine quicker than iron ones.

Available content:

• Complete tool sets made from copper, platinum, lead, silver, compressed iron, and enderium.
• Armor crafted of peridot, sapphire, ruby, and amethyst.
• Sickles compatible with Thaumcraft, Botania, Twilight Forest, and Flaxbeard’s Steam Power.
• An option in the configuration file lets you include sickles from vanilla materials (turned off by default).

Future plans may integrate Natura for additional sickle options.
