Corail Scanner
Adds a specialized scanner to the game for finding any type of blocks
This modification provides a unique and engaging gameplay experience for discovering various Minecraft world blocks. The scanner offers comfortable searching for resources and building materials. The mod is translated into English and French, works on dedicated servers, and is compatible with Minecraft versions from 1.10.2 to 1.12+.
Key Features
Scanning Functionality: Scanning occurs in a conical area with a maximum range of 50 blocks. This requires holding the right mouse button. The scanning area automatically accounts for the player's viewing direction. The scanner works excellently with modded blocks through resource dictionary (oredictionary) usage, allowing it to find similar blocks from different mods.
Please note: highlighting found blocks must be enabled in in-game settings.
Energy System: The scanner uses an energy system instead of durability. It has a limited energy reserve corresponding to maximum usage time. In creative mode, energy is not consumed. Target selection for search is performed by sneaking over the desired block.
Settings and Configuration
You can fully customize the scanner to your needs:
- Set maximum battery energy capacity through server settings
- Create block blacklists in configuration files
- Configure in-game client options for object highlighting
- Disable scanner sound effects
- Synchronize configurations between server and client
Audio Experience: Choose from available vanilla instrumental melodies, with pitch automatically changing based on the number of blocks found.
Crafting and Usage
Component Crafting: Use the standard crafting table to create the battery and scanner. Recipes allow using similar ingredients from other mods.

Operation: The scanner only functions in the right hand. To select a target block for searching, sneak and right-click on the desired object. The scanner's viewing angle is 40 degrees.
Recharging: Scanner energy gradually depletes. For recharging, use the scanner with a battery in the crafting table:
