Corrupt Convergence - Global Biome Modification for Minecraft

This unique modification enriches Minecraft with captivating new biomes featuring winding paths of corruption and blooming meadows that constantly reshape the game world.

Update 1.4.0: Nether Transformation

Version 1.3.0 Complete Changelog:

All biomes have undergone major overhaul for enhanced gameplay:

Meadow Biomes now contain more gold and emeralds, gained taiga villages! Also increased flora density and various shrubs.

Corruption Biomes host pillager outposts and filled with dead bushes. Dense forests feature woodland mansions, while Marshlands received more balanced flora distribution.

Underground landscape underwent significant changes. Caves now generate spontaneous karst cavities and micro-ravines, creating unique subterranean landscapes. All cavemakers transitioned to unique textures with exclusive item graphics.

Spreading Mechanics

Meadow biomes gained expansion mechanics: treating meadow grass with raspberries creates a special spreading lawn version.

New Blocks and Items

  • Cider Barrel - transforms food products (apples into groups of 3, carrots into carrot juice)
  • Compacting Station - creates compact sand and reinforced iron (unavailable in survival mode)
  • Apple Group - activated to become 3 regular apples
  • Carrot Juice - provides night vision and saturation effects
  • Apple Cider - produced in barrel from apple groups

Key Game Balance Changes

Meadow blocks now feature blue color scheme. Crafting recipes modified, including the Convergence Key Item enabling meadow spread (disabled by default). Sneak-right-click to disable spreading.

Significant Fixes

  • Overhauled item textures and models
  • Resolved item duplication and loss issues in mechanisms
  • Reduced meadow spread rate from 5% to 2%
  • Removed /togglespread command, replaced with new /why
  • Fixed blindness effect outside corruption biomes
  • Optimized expansion algorithm performance

Major 1.2.0 Changes

With restructured foundation and new mobs: Corrupted Wolf (powerful and fast) and Corrupted Zombie (incredibly durable and dangerous). Both hostile towards each other, enhancing competitive atmosphere.

Damaging vines and flowers inflict contact damage to moving objects. Added Patriot ore and ingots at deep world levels.

Core Mod Features

Corruption - persistent biome alteration process. It infects grass and trees primarily during nighttime. Its growth easily stoppable - isolate potential greening areas.

New biomes include:

  • Dense Forest - harsh mega-Taiga
  • Marshland - waterside thickets
  • Corruption Biomes with dangerous plants, brewing blindness technical fog, and aggressive inhabitants
