Country Road Creature
The Country Road Creature modification introduces a terrifying new threat to Minecraft from the Trevor Henderson universe. This tall, slender humanoid creature possesses immense health, speed, and damaging power. It appears exclusively at night and sequentially progresses through multiple developmental phases.
Dangerous Hunter
The creature begins hunting players covertly, instantly disappearing when detected. As events unfold, it moves progressively closer and can disguise itself as a pillager, revealing its true nature only after taking damage. In its aggressive state, the monster can break blocks (leaves, wood, glass), perform powerful leaps, launch players into the air, and hurl stones at them.

Multi-Phase Behavior System
Phase 1: The entity spawns in forests and plains, secretly observing players. Approaching within 30 blocks triggers its immediate disappearance.
Phase 2: The creature begins moving toward the player but halts at a 25-block distance, maintaining surveillance. Reducing the gap to 20 blocks causes it to retreat.
Phase 3: At this stage, the monster stops at 20 blocks but becomes aggressive when approached within 15 blocks. When health drops below 40%, there's a chance of withdrawal.
Management and Compatibility
All behavior phases can be configured using the game command /setCountryRoadCreaturePhase
or a special phase item available in creative mode. Version 1.0 of Country Road Creature is fully compatible with Long Horse mod version 1.3, with the appearance of the Long Horse potentially serving as a warning of an approaching new phase of the primary threat.
Technical Requirements
The mod requires Geckolib installation: version 4407241 for Minecraft 1.19.2, version 4568326 for 1.19.4, and version 5060416 for 1.20.1. Block destruction by the monster can be disabled by setting the mobGriefing
game rule to false.
