Crawl Input
This modification introduces two new control methods in the settings menu:
. (Hold) Crawl . (Toggle) Crawl
The "(Hold) Crawl" key activates crawling mode when pressed and deactivates it when released. The "(Toggle) Crawl" option works as a switch: each press toggles the crawling state between active and inactive.
Crawling mode activates only under specific conditions: the crawl flag is enabled, and the character is not sleeping, sneaking, gliding, dying, or using riptide spinning.
Exiting the swimming/crawling state occurs when the crawl flag is disabled or when the character is in any of the aforementioned states that prevent crawling.
Update from 09/17/24: While playing with a friend, an interesting bug was discovered - the ability to crawl while riding mobs and vehicles. For example, in a boat, the character might sink to the bottom and start drowning (though this doesn't happen on rafts due to their specific design).
This effect can look amusing or unusual, but doesn't significantly impact gameplay. Since this was a small experimental idea, I don't plan to spend time fixing this behavior unless it genuinely interferes with the gaming experience.
