Crazy Chocobos!
Crazy Chocobos introduces the legendary Chocobo — a mount from the famous Final Fantasy game series by Square Enix — into Minecraft.

Embark on a search for Chocobo nests, which can occasionally be found in the wild lands of the Overworld, primarily in hot biomes. Destroying a nest yields 1 to 3 Chocobo eggs that can be hatched simply by right-clicking.
These creatures can be tamed just like horses — they gladly accept similar treats. But the true highlight of this mod is the incredible variety of Chocobos! The generation system offers nearly 5000 unique combinations, including various colors, patterns, and breeds of these amazing creatures.
Immerse yourself in the world of three main Chocobo breeds:
Destrier — a powerful large breed with maximum health among its counterparts, though not known for speed.
Rounsey — a versatile medium-sized breed achieving the highest speed and jump height with standard health indicators.
Kennel — a miniature breed with low health stats, demonstrating decent jumping ability.
Your Chocobo will become more than just a mount — you can equip it with a saddle and even attach a chest for carrying items. The cargo can be easily removed if needed.
For complete immersion, activate the "Replace Horses" option in the mod settings, and all regular horses, donkeys, and mules in the game will transform into colorful Chocobos!

Question: Animations are not playing or working incorrectly? Answer: The issue is related to Geckolib. Try disabling entity shadows in game and shader settings, especially when using Iris. On version 1.20.1, disabling the Iris/Oculus Geckolib compatibility mod may also help.
