Create: Coasters
This addon expands the capabilities of the Create mod, allowing you to build full-fledged theme parks with roller coasters and attractions. Originally developed for the Europica Park project, the mod offers specialized tools for constructing entertainment complexes.
It's important to note that the current version is not compatible with Create v6, but the developer plans to release an update. A Fabric version will also be available soon, currently in the testing phase.
The mod is designed primarily for creative mode and is not balanced for survival. Blocks have no crafting recipes, and some schedule functions can be misused by players even in survival mode.
Main Features
Boost Block - sets the speed of trains passing over it as a percentage of their maximum speed. Perfect for creating speed boosts on drops or slowing down before stations.
Speed Limit Block - sets the maximum speed of trains on specific track sections. Useful for speed control on complex route segments and near intersections.
Lock Seat Block - locks or unlocks seats on contraptions. When powered by redstone, it locks all seats, and when unpowered, it unlocks them. Can be configured for specific seat colors, allowing control over passenger boarding and disembarking.
Lock Seat Schedule - a train schedule function that works similarly to the lock seat block. Allows automatic locking or unlocking of all seats in the train or only specific colors.
Steam Sound Control - a schedule instruction for turning locomotive steam sounds on or off. Useful for creating silent attractions or removing annoying sounds on specific track sections.
Dynamic Camera Changes - when moving at high speeds, the camera automatically zooms out, creating a speed effect. This subtle visual technique significantly enhances the sensation of speed. Settings can be adjusted in the client config if the effect causes discomfort or motion sickness.
