Create Legacy

Create Legacy is an unofficial adaptation of the famous Create mod for Minecraft version 1.12.2 on the Forge platform. This project is developed independently from the original creator team.

For those unfamiliar with Create - it's a technological mod that allows creating complex mechanisms and automation systems using gears, shafts, and other kinetic components.

Features and Current Status

This version is not an exact port of a specific Create version - rather it's an independent development incorporating elements from different releases of the original mod.

Key features of the current implementation:

• Kinetic networks support only one speed per entire system (improvement planned)
• Kinetic blocks use TESR rendering
• No Flywheel optimization, but performance is significantly better than using blockstates
• Full integration with JEI/HEI for recipe viewing

For the best visual experience, it's recommended to install ConnectedTexturesMod (CTM), which provides seamless textures.

Legal Aspects

It's important to note that this project:

• Is not affiliated with Simibubi (creator of the original Create)
• All Java code is written from scratch
• Development is conducted with Simibubi's permission
