This addon for the Create mod offers an innovative approach to transmitting kinetic energy using light beams and specialized optical components.

Key Features

Optical Source - generates various types of beams depending on the applied rotational force

Optical Receptor - converts the received beam back into rotational energy, taking into account its characteristics

Encased Mirrors - reflect light beams at right angles

Polarizing Filters - alter the polarization of light beams

Beam Splitter Cubes - split the original beam into two and polarize them perpendicular to each other

Optical Sensors - generate redstone signals based on the properties of the incident beam

Beam Condensers - combine up to three beams into one, merging their properties

Beam Focusers - a new category of components for processing items using light beam characteristics

Working Mechanics

Use the mirror system to change the direction of beam propagation created by optical sources. Receptors can convert incoming light into mechanical energy, with intensity depending on beam characteristics. Polarizing filters open up possibilities for creating complex mechanisms with controlled energy transmission.

All crafting recipes are available through the JEI mod, and additional mechanics are thoroughly explained in the ponder system (built into Create Mod). Some aspects of working with optics may seem complex, so it's recommended to study them using Create's ponder system.
