Create: Trial & Error - Trial Chambers Automation!
Although Create has been updated to version 1.21 for some time, there was virtually no interaction between Minecraft 1.21's new features and Create... until now! The Create: Trial & Error mod provides full automation of trial chamber vaults through numerous unique features.
Key Cast Creation: It's now possible to create copies of both regular and ominous trial keys by making casts of them. While this process has a high chance of failure, once a cast is successfully created, it can be used to produce an infinite number of keys from tuff and copper.
Vault Automation: In the base game, a vault cannot be opened if the player is too far away. This mechanic has been changed - now deployers can open vaults without requiring the player to be nearby, enabling remote automation.
Trial Reset: Vaults can now be reset using the new Tabula Rasa item. Applying this item to a vault allows it to be reopened. Tabula Rasa can be obtained from ominous vaults or duplicated using mechanical crafters.
Visual Overhaul: Trial chambers have received a new color palette using decorative blocks from Create. A new line of andesite decorative blocks has also been added: andesite grates, bulbs, and trapdoors. Vaults now contain Create items such as zinc and andesite alloy, with an expanded loot table.
Resource Automation: To ensure complete automation of trial key production, recipes for automating tuff and veridium mining have been added, which can be used to obtain renewable copper.
The path to full automation of trial chambers requires significant effort, but the end result is a balanced infinite source of diamonds, heavy cores, and even enchanted golden apples.
Important: creating an ominous key requires oxidized copper. This mod does not add copper oxidation recipes for balance purposes - it's intended to automate the oxidation process using deployers and drills.
