Created: Origins
This modification introduces a unique technological process for creating the Orb of Origin using machinery from the Create mod. Instead of traditional crafting, you'll need to assemble a complex production chain.
System Requirements
For this expansion to function properly, you need the Create and Origins mods installed. We also strongly recommend using one of the popular in-game item reference guides: JEI, REI, or EMI.
Step-by-Step Guide to Creating the Orb of Origin
The entire process consists of eight sequential stages, each requiring specific equipment:
Stage 1: Place an eye of ender near a source of soul fire and use a fan to create an enchanted eyeball.
Stage 2: Cut the unfinished sphere with a mechanical saw. This stage involves certain risks:
• There's a 10% chance of complete destruction of the workpiece
• With a 10% chance, additional blaze powder may appear
These events occur independently of each other, making production unpredictable.
Stage 3: Set up a deployer-automaton to cover the inner surface of the sphere with a brass sheet.
Stage 4: Using another deployer, carefully place a precision mechanism inside the sphere.
Stage 5: Use a third deployer to apply a slimeball, which will bond the edges of the structure.
Stage 6: With a fourth deployer, install a sturdy sheet over the adhesive joint.
Stage 7: Sand the outer surface with sandpaper, removing excess adhesive.
Stage 8: Clean the product from production dust using either a spout or fan in combination with water.
Important note: The slimeball in the recipe can be replaced with any item tagged as c:slime_balls. This is done for compatibility with the super glue recipe from the Create mod, which uses a similar principle.
For better visualization, the entire process can be summarized as a brief list of resources and tools needed at each production stage:
• Fan, soul fire, eye of ender
• Mechanical saw
• Deployer, brass sheet
• Deployer, precision mechanism
• Deployer, slimeball
• Deployer, sturdy sheet
• Sandpaper
• Spout or fan, water
