Creeper Fireworks Mod - Safe Creeper Explosions

This unique mod solves the common problem of creeper destruction in Minecraft by replacing their standard explosions with colorful fireworks. The main advantage is that the surrounding world no longer suffers from explosions, while players and mobs continue to take damage, maintaining the danger of encountering creepers.

How It Works?

Instead of a destructive explosion, the creeper launches a firework with special stars upon death that deal damage to living creatures. A normal creeper creates one firework, while a charged one creates as many as nine! Each firework contains 10 stars for maximum effect and damage.

Important: Charged creepers no longer drop heads since the current implementation doesn't support this feature. If you need mob heads, we recommend using additional datapacks for alternative ways to obtain them.

Technical Features

The mod uses a clever mechanism through hunger and conduit power effects, as well as tracking the effect clouds that appear after the explosion. This may cause minor lags on weak computers, especially with charged creeper explosions, but in most cases performance remains stable.
