Creeper Spores

A Minecraft modification designed for the Quilt loader that completely transforms creeper mechanics by portraying them as plants.

Spore Propagation

Instead of terrain destruction upon explosion, creepers now spread spores. These spores function as a status effect on nearby living entities. When an affected entity takes damage or dies under the effect's influence, or when the spore effect expires, there's a chance for a creeperling to spawn.

Creeperlings

Adorable baby creepers that gradually mature when exposed to sunlight. They have half the health of adult creepers and flee from survival mode players and cats. Bone meal can be applied to accelerate a creeperling's growth. These little ones possess characteristics similar to catnip, making them natural prey for cats and ocelots.

Additional Features

• Creepers spawning on the surface are automatically replaced with creeperlings
• Creepers take double damage from fire (dry leaves burn quite well, as we all know)
• Charged creepers still destroy terrain unless mobGriefing is set to false (obtaining heads remains a risky endeavor)
• You can spawn a creeperling by using a creeper spawn egg on another creeper or creeperling
