Crossroads Legacy

This mod is a fork for Minecraft version 1.12.2, created based on the original Crossroads MC. It features a comprehensive automation system and various mechanisms.

The gameplay begins with three basic energy types: gears, steam, and heat. By establishing a stable system that utilizes all these energy sources, players gain access to beams.

Beams are a complex multi-component system with various colors and inverse colors. When properly applied, they can produce diverse effects where they land. Mastering beam manipulation unlocks the ability for infinite production of redstone and glowstone.

Beyond beam technologies, two fundamentally different specializations await: Technomancy and Alchemy. The alchemical path enables mastery of infinite basic metal production, while technomancy reveals possibilities for time acceleration and creation of pocket dimensions.

Why This Fork Exists

The original Crossroads 1.12.2 version was abandoned and had numerous localization issues, including severe errors in translation formatting and hardcoded strings, making the mod uncomfortable for non-English speaking players. This fork solves these problems by including built-in Chinese localization.

Additionally, newer Crossroads versions removed prototype blocks, so anyone wanting to fully experience the mod's capabilities needs to return to version 1.12.2.

Will New Features Be Backported?

This possibility is being considered and will likely be implemented.
