CTweaks - Vanilla Enhancement Mod
Now available for version 1.17!
Please note that version 1.17 is recently released and may contain some bugs.
What is CTweaks?
This mod is inspired by Quark's approach and adds various features that I believe should have been part of vanilla Minecraft. All new additions blend seamlessly into the standard gameplay and create the feeling of official content.
Major Changes
Trauma System
Upon death, the player receives various trauma effects depending on the cause of death. These status effects can be disabled in client settings.
Agricultural Improvements
- Scythes - special harvesting tool that passes through all dropped items and has a 33% chance to double the yield. Can also be used as a fast weapon
- Rotten crops - wheat and carrots have a 10% chance to drop in rotten form
- New soup recipes - added method for making soups using cauldrons
Building Materials
- Cracked wood - cracked wood variant available for every vanilla wood type (currently unobtainable)
Minor Features
- Critical damage depends on fall height
- Organic materials can be composted
- Polar bears can be tamed
- Illusioners participate in raids
- Zombie horses spawn when regular horses are struck by lightning
