Experience Cubed is a Minecraft modification compatible with Forge and NeoForge. Currently, there are no plans to port the mod to Fabric or support versions older than 1.18.2.

The experience system in Minecraft has several drawbacks, and this mod aims to address them. Firstly, a large number of experience orb entities can significantly reduce game performance. Secondly, in the vanilla version, accumulated experience cannot be stored—it is completely lost upon death (unless the "keep inventory" option is enabled).

This mod solves these issues by replacing standard experience orbs with experience cubes—special items that can store up to 1000 experience points each (by default). These cubes can also serve other purposes: for example, they can be used as an internal currency on servers, allowing players to trade experience for resources or services. However, cubes are consumable—they disappear after a single use.

What if you need a reusable experience storage solution? Experience bottles are perfect for this purpose—they can now store up to 30 levels and be used infinitely. To gain experience from a bottle, simply consume it. If you want to store your current experience, hold Shift and right-click with the bottle in hand, and all your experience will transfer into it.
