About the Modification

Cuisine is a modification dedicated to cooking and gastronomy. It allows you to prepare food in a realistic way, simulating processes that occur in a real kitchen. Imagine how you cook food in real life - this is exactly the experience this mod offers.

Getting Started

Start with basic ingredients and kitchen utensils. To study crafting recipes for kitchen tools, it is recommended to use the Just Enough Items mod. Ingredients and seasonings support the ore dictionary system, making them easier to find. You can also explore the world and break regular grass to find basic grains and vegetables added by the modification.

When you have everything you need, simply start cooking dishes - it's really that simple!

Features and Advantages

Here's what distinguishes Cuisine from other food mods:

• Support for arbitrary ingredient and seasoning combinations. You can create any dishes - regardless of their origin, complexity of composition, or even logical combinations. If a particular dish cannot be prepared - this is a reason to report to the developers.
• Your cooking skills affect the quality of the finished food. Practice makes perfect - remember the taste of dishes prepared by your mother or grandmother?
• Cooking methods also play an important role. For example, you cannot simply let a steak burn to ashes on a grill.
• Ingredients have special effects, and their combinations can cause interesting consequences. Using seasonings is a true art.

Recipe System

Initially, we did not create a recipe book, believing that "a fixed set of recipes limits players' imagination". However, testing showed that many users would like to have an in-game guide. We also saw potential for modpack creators to set their own recipe sets and add custom models for greater visual appeal. Work on this system is already underway and has made significant progress.
