Custom Background Music
Custom Background Music provides a powerful framework for adding custom background music to Minecraft gameplay. This system is designed for both mod developers and map creators, allowing integration of personalized musical compositions into the game environment.
Core functionality includes two special blocks that help you create unique atmosphere:
- Music Block (BGM Block) - allows setting background music for specific areas of the game world
- Boss Spawner - helper block that spawns an enemy and activates special music theme during its existence
Technical features of boss spawner:
- Creature automatically despawns and block resets if player leaves activation area
- Block activates only when receiving redstone signal
- Block outputs comparator strength of 7 when boss is spawned and 15 after its destruction
- Disabling redstone signal resets block for reuse
The system also supports advanced sound capabilities, including configuration of custom loop points for musical compositions.
