Customizing Menu Backgrounds in Minecraft
This compact client-side modification enables you to replace the default dirt background in the game menu with more visually appealing design options.
How to Use the Modification
After installing the mod on the client version of the game, the random background selection mode becomes active. The system will automatically choose images from a pre-installed collection of blocks that were specifically selected for creating aesthetic background compositions.
For users who prefer specific designs, manual configuration is available through the configuration file. In the "Fixed-Background" parameter, you need to specify the resource path in Resource Location format. For example, "textures/blocks/stone.png" will set a stone background, while "textures/blocks/bedrock.png" will set a bedrock background. You can view all available textures of the standard Minecraft version by opening minecraft.jar with an archiver.
The mod supports textures from other modifications. To do this, you need to find the desired texture in the assets folder of the corresponding mod and add the "modid:" prefix. For instance, "mineralogy:textures/blocks/drywall_yellow.png" will load the yellow drywall texture from the Mineralogy mod.
For using your own images, you can utilize resource packs or the more convenient Resource Loader tool.
