Custom Machinery

make your dream machine come true

Have you ever been in a situation where, while creating your awesome modpack, you wanted to add a custom recipe but no available machine in your pack matched what you needed?

For example, you need a machine that takes 3 items, 5 different fluids, and some energy to create another item, but such functionality simply doesn't exist.

Or you find a mod with a suitable machine, but it adds a lot of extra content that you don't need.

This mod allows you to create your own machines using datapacks and add them to the game. You can customize absolutely everything: from appearance (model, textures, sounds, lighting, interface) to functionality (number of inputs and outputs, their type and capacity), as well as add your own recipes for processing.

Custom Machine Capabilities:

Machines can have any appearance (item, block, or even custom model), change appearance depending on state (idle/running/error/pause), emit light when processing recipes, play sounds during operation. They support FE energy (compatible with RF), contain fluid tanks with customizable capacity and quantity, have item slots with configurable settings. Each machine has its own interface for viewing contents and recipe progress, can be paused by redstone signal and generate signals depending on state. Upgrades that change recipe processing are also supported, along with detailed input/output configuration for each side separately.

Recipe Capabilities:

Recipes can consume or produce FE energy (continuously or one-time), work with fluids and items (including tags, NBT and durability), activate only at specific times of day, in particular biomes, dimensions or world positions. They can execute commands at different processing stages, require fuel like in a furnace, work with probabilities of resource consumption/production, affect nearby mobs, activate under specific weather or redstone signal. Recipes can also check nearby entities, light levels, interact with blocks, require complex structures around the machine, use loot tables, work with items on the ground, and execute Crafttweaker and KubeJS scripts.

All these settings are done through JSON files in datapacks, and changes are applied in-game with the /reload command without restarting the game.

The mod is fully compatible with JEI and The One Probe, which significantly simplifies working with it. Integration with Crafttweaker and KubeJS for creating recipes and upgrades is also supported.

The Fabric version requires Reborn Core installation.
