Custom Void [Fabric] - Configurable Void Color and Position

This client-side Fabric mod allows complete customization of the void's appearance in Minecraft. You can change its color, appearance height, and starting position.

Important: Fabric API and Cloth Config are required for the mod to work.

Who is this mod useful for?

Especially helpful when playing on Skylands or Skyblock type maps, where you often descend below sea level and encounter the ugly black void. Also allows restoring the blue void from early Minecraft Alpha/Beta versions.

Settings

Configuration is done through Mod Menu (recommended) or the config/customvoid.json file.

Main parameters:

• Void Display (default: enabled) - turn void on/off
• Dynamic Void Height (default: enabled) - automatic adjustment of position relative to player height
• Void Type (default: DEFAULT) - void style selection
• Void Height Threshold (default: 63) - height at which void begins to display
• Void Height Offset (default: 0) - adjustment of void's starting position

Void Types

• DEFAULT - standard black void
• CLASSIC - blue void from Alpha/Beta versions
• MODERN - classic void with desaturated blue color matching water color
• SKY - sky-colored void
• CUSTOM - void with custom color

Ready-made Settings

For Alpha/Beta void:

• Void Type: CLASSIC
• Height Threshold: 256 (or higher)
• Height Offset: -12
• Other settings - default

For early Release versions:

• Void Type: CLASSIC
• Dynamic Height: enabled
• Height Threshold: 256 (or higher)
• Other settings - default
