CutAndSlash
CutAndSlash mod dramatically expands Minecraft's arsenal by adding a huge variety of unique weapons from different historical eras and even from other game universes. Each weapon features end-game power levels and offers completely new combat tactics compared to vanilla counterparts.
All added weapon types are equipped with diverse effects - these can be activatable abilities with cooldowns or passive bonuses when held in hands. Such diversity allows creating unique combat combinations and expressing your playstyle, turning you into a true battle master.
Japanese Weapons
Shuriken: Fast-firing throwing stars whose effectiveness matches their cost.
Katana: Light and agile, yet incredibly sharp sword made of tamahagane.
Jo: Powerful wooden staff that breaks opponents' bones when struck. Special attack creates a radial explosion.
Bo: Upgraded version of Jo made from tamahagane with increased durability, strength and more powerful explosion.
Tekko-kagi: Ultra-fast metal claws whose speed is their main advantage. Special ability increases running and attack speed.
Bolas: Metal balls on a chain that immobilize the target for several seconds when thrown.
Fukyia: Upgraded blowgun with increased power, durability and damage.
Yari: Incredibly powerful spear with massive damage but significant weight. Ability summons lightning around the player.
Kabutowari: Inflicts deep cuts causing bleeding, with chance to break enemy's skull and blind them.
Sticky Bomb: Durable explosive that detonates several seconds after placement.
Kama: Small hand sickle with low damage but high attack speed, applying bleeding.
Kiseru: Metal smoking pipe that creates smoke screen and grants invisibility with fire resistance.
Nobori: Large banner for off-hand providing resistance, fire resistance VI and strength, but blocks part of the screen.
Ono: Compact hand axe delivering powerful blows. Can be used as regular axe or slow deadly weapon.
Saihai: Mace resembling flail with low damage. Makes player immortal for 8 seconds costing 5 XP levels.
Yumi: Huge metal bow significantly slowing movement when aiming, but dealing colossal damage at long ranges.
Egyptian Weapons
Ankh: Indestructible throwing item that respawns few seconds after hitting target and applies debuffs.
Crook: Besides pickaxe function, special attack creates explosives around you after 3 seconds.
Flail: While not the best attacking weapon, grants immortality for 8 seconds in exchange for 5 XP levels.
Javelin: Powerful spear that throws enemies back when thrown.
Khopesh: Light weapon with chance to mark enemy for lightning strike after few seconds.
Mace Axe: Extremely heavy weapon with colossal damage but very slow attack.
Pole Axe: Powerful axe that enchants with knockback when first held.
Sekhem Scepter: Stylish shovel that creates earth pillars under player's feet disappearing after 2 minutes.
Composite Bow: Fast-shooting golden bow firing arrow storm with low damage.
Epsilon Axe: Large axe with short blade dealing medium damage and slowing enemies.
Khinjar: Small dagger with fast low-damage attacks and ability to increase running and attack speed.
Scorpion Mace: Heavy golden mace slowing movement but delivering crushing blows.
Sistrum: Small hand instrument that can be enchanted with disarm for 10 XP levels.
Throw Stick: Golden club-like weapon that can be thrown. Returns to inventory after hitting entity.
Roman Weapons
Dolabra: Multifunctional tool for breaking stone, earth and wood. Instantly kills weak targets by decapitation.
Gladius: Very sharp sword causing bleeding and temporary blindness to opponent.
Hasta: Long spear with high damage, ideal for distance attacks combined with shield.
Kopis: Seemingly weak sword with special berserk mode increasing damage and attack speed.
Pilum: Powerful throwing spear that drops after hitting target or block.
Plumbata: Small but effective darts for quick throwing.
Pugio: Small fast blade with high attack speed.
Spatha: Large heavy sword with massive damage and good attack speed.
Batillum: Small hand shovel used as both weapon and tool.
Falx: Weapon with curved blade causing bleeding.
Ligo: Compact version of Dolabra with less damage but higher speed.
Manuballista: Heavy crossbow with powerful shots and enemy ignition, but difficult to aim.
Parma: Small shield protecting from fire and removing poison with bleeding.
Scutum: Large heavy shield giving protection I and chance to block enemy attacks.
Maya Weapons
Atlatl: Wooden extension for throwing Atlatl darts over greater distance.
Atlatl Dart: Heavy but powerful spear with obsidian tip.
Ekel: Hand axe made from obsidian that marks enemies making them more vulnerable.
Hos: Heavy machete with chain grip for easy handling.
Kobol: Wooden scepter creating jaws in ground around wielder.
Kuchilu: Fast and durable knife with decent damage.
Macuahuitl: Very powerful and heavy weapon instantly killing horses, llamas and donkeys.
Satil: Wooden statuette making player immortal for 8 seconds but preventing attacks.
Blowgun: Weak bamboo weapon shooting poisonous darts.
Caribbean Weapons
Cutlass: Curved sword with good speed and damage.
Boarding Axe: Heavy axe with enormous damage but very slow attack.
Horn: Baton-like weapon applying debuffs to attacked mobs.
Cursed Skull: Blinds holder but gives wither effect to attacked mobs.
Dynamite: Heavy throwing projectile exploding on contact.
Harpoon: Spear-like weapon with balanced damage and attack speed.
Stiletto: Small knife with low damage but very high attack speed.
English Weapons
Bludgeon: Baseball-like bat with sharp spikes always dealing 25% or 33% of enemy's current health.
Dagger: Small blade with fast low-damage attacks.
Falchion: Large sword with good damage and balanced speed.
Morning Star: Heavy mace weapon with slow but powerful strikes.
Scimitar: Curved blade sword with chance to mark enemy for lightning strike after 3 seconds.
Swing: Fairly fast weapon causing enemy bleeding.
War Hammer: Strong hammer that enchants with knockback when first held.
Team Fortress 2 Weapons
Eyelander: Large sword granting temporary absorption and speed effects after kill.
Pain Train: Causes target bleeding upon hit.
Scotsman's Skullcutter: Slow but incredibly strong axe for cutting wood or dealing heavy damage.
Claidheamh Mòr: Has 35% chance to enchant itself with channeling when hitting enemy.
Half-Zatoichi: Grants regeneration boost when held. Instantly kills enemies also using this sword.
Persian Persuader: Enchants with channeling when hitting enemy.
Bushwacka: Deals additional 6 damage if opponent has half health.
Kukri: Small weapon with low damage but very high attack speed.
Necro Smasher: Wooden hammer blinding opponents after hit.
Nessie's Nine Iron: Golf club used as battle pole, creating explosion around when right-clicked.
Powerjack: Car battery on handle granting speed boost when held.
Prinny Machete: Fast weapon with very low damage but causing bleeding.
Shahanshah: Gives weakness 2 when held, but strength 3 when health is 50% or less.
Neo-Latin Weapons
Bec de Corbin: Heavy multifunctional tool used as weapon, shovel, axe or pickaxe.
Carracks Sword: Grants short absorption effect and small speed boost after killing mob.
Croce: Throwable cross with strong knockback and weakening effects.
Estoc: Gives hunger II, speed I and strength III when held.
Rapier: Fast-attacking sword with low damage but high speed.
Sabre: Strong blade always dealing 25% or 33% of target's current health.
Shepherd's Axe: Powerful axe with high damage and slow attack speed.
Spadone: Slowly loses durability when held but gives strength III.
Chinese Weapons
Dao: Balanced sword capable of dealing enormous damage.
Ji: Large polearm with sharp point causing bleeding.
Podao: Heavy polearm with slow attack speed but colossal damage.
Qiang: Dual-function spear for melee and ranged combat with high damage.
Sai: Small weapon with three spikes, very fast even with low damage.
Shuang Gou: Curved blades becoming stronger when using two of them.
Shuangshou Jian: Large double-bladed sword strengthening when off-hand is empty.
Zhuge: Fast-acting crossbow with high damage, great range and durability.
Compatibility
Optifine: Mod is fully compatible with Optifine without any problems.
Create: Adds simple automation using mechanical mixer.
Better Combat: All weapon types are compatible with this mod.
Epic Fight: Weapons are compatible with the mod but have minor inconsistencies.
You can freely use this mod in your modpacks.
