Daggerlance
Modification Features
Weapons and Items
Daggerlance - a new unique weapon:
- Attack range exceeds that of a regular sword
- Inflicts the same damage as classic swords
- Features an extended cooldown period after striking
- Nether's wither skeletons occasionally spawn wielding this weapon, with varying dagger appearances
- Starting from version 1.2, Daggerlance can be obtained by defeating wither skeletons using specific weapons (netherite sword, axe, or the dagger itself). This behavior is customizable via the drops_daggerlance tag in data packs or can be disabled using the requireWeaponToDropDaggerlance game rule
Lancium - a resource introduced in version 1.3:
- Crafted from 4 netherite scraps and 4 obsidian blocks
- Drops when lancium block set blocks or a burning dagger are incinerated
- Used for dagger repairs on an anvil or crafting table
Block Variety
Version 1.3 introduced a complete set of building blocks made from lancium, including standard blocks and various brick variations.
Visual Customization
Daggerlance offers 6 different visual appearance options. To change the weapon's skin, crouch and use the right mouse button on an anvil or smithing table.
Compatibility with Other Mods
- Arsenal - daggers correctly display in special back slots and weapon racks in version 1.20.1 (port to 1.21.5 is not yet implemented).
- Combat Amenities - starting from version 1.3, the weapon fully supports additional equipment slots on the back and belt.
