This mod fundamentally changes Minecraft gameplay through a simple principle: every time your character takes damage (excluding fatal blows), random mobs begin to spawn around you. These can be absolutely any creatures - from harmless squids to fearsome Withers, Wardens, and even the Ender Dragon itself! The system supports mobs from any installed modifications.
Playing in a world with this addition will force you to masterfully dodge any damage sources, as the situation can spiral out of control in mere seconds. Aggressive new arrivals won't hesitate to attack, creating genuine chaos around the battleground.
Flexible Customization to Your Preferences
The modification offers an extensive configuration system allowing precise adjustment of the mob spawning mechanics:
• Adjustment of spawned creature quantity and spawn distance
• Option to enable or disable creation of non-living objects (arrows, minecarts)
• Setting the mechanic to trigger from all damage in general, not just player damage
• Option for newly created mobs to join the team of either the attacked or attacking creature

Tag Systems for Precise Control
The mod uses two special tag files to manage the selection of creatures that will appear after taking damage:
data/damagespawnsmobs/tags/entity_types/excluded_mobs.json - allows exclusion of specific mobs from the general list
data/damagespawnsmobs/tags/entity_types/included_mobs.json - completely replaces the base set of monsters with your own preferences
