Three New Underground Biomes

Glowing Mushroom Forest

In this mysterious cave, you'll encounter giant glowing mushrooms, special fungal monsters, and unique vegetation. Here you can find the glowing mushroom cap, which when used as headwear creates light around you, temporarily increases work speed, and has limited durability.

Sandy Catacombs

This desolate underground territory features petrified roots hanging from the ceiling and rocky formations. These catacombs are inhabited by special soulless mobs that constantly seek new victims to bond with.

When you defeat Void Soul mobs, they don't completely disappear but transform into invulnerable spheres that exist for about a minute. These souls can be captured in glass bottles or preserved using amber.

The catacombs also contain special structures where you'll encounter Body Snatchers, Void Soul Knights, and other dangerous creatures. Here you can obtain Forsaken Bronze - a metal with special properties used to craft unique items including the Death Anchor and special daggers.

Molten Caverns

This scorching underground zone features a special variety of deepslate and multi-level lava lakes. Here you can discover geysers, amber clusters, and Dead Living Crystals.

Dead crystals can be revived using diamonds. After complete restoration, they transform into Living Crystals that can spread to neighboring diamond veins or develop a special craving for melons.

If you place a melon near a living crystal, it gradually turns into a stone melon and then into a Crystal Melon. This unique fruit, when used in the offhand, makes any tool unbreakable for five minutes while significantly increasing attack speed, mining speed, and damage dealt.
