Darkerer: True Darkness in Minecraft
The Darkerer mod brings atmospheric and realistic darkness back to Minecraft, turning night into a truly dangerous time of day. With it, you can only see the outlines of objects, making the game significantly more challenging and interesting.
Main Features
Widespread Darkness
The shading affects all three main dimensions: the Overworld, Nether, and End. The darkness level for each dimension can be configured individually.
Operation Modes
- Complete absence of minimum sky or block lighting (default mode)
- Only block lighting disabled
- Dynamic darkness dependent on moon phase
Extended Compatibility
The mod automatically darkens all additional dimensions added by other modifications. If necessary, specific dimensions can be excluded from this rule through configuration settings. Special optimization is provided for the Twilight Forest dimension - one of the most popular mods.
Network Mode
When playing on servers, configuration settings are synchronized between the server and client. This ensures equal gaming conditions for all participants. When disconnecting from the server, the client's local settings are automatically restored.
