ATTENTION: The magnet might disrupt the operation of automatic farms since it has a large range (32 blocks) and simply pulls items towards the player, ignoring walls or blocks between the player and the item
Main Features of the Mod
This modification adds an item magnet to the game - a convenient tool that attracts scattered items and blocks within a 32-block radius around the character.
To craft the magnet, you need to find a magnetic core. This item can be found in various dungeon structures across all dimensions. Since the item magnet is designed as endgame equipment, it only appears in more challenging dungeons and has a fairly low chance of spawning.
Structures and Drop Chances
- Ancient City (35% per chest) - Bastion (15% per regular chest / up to two cores with 35% chance each for treasure chests) - End City (15% per chest) - Stronghold (10% per chest - libraries only)Once you have found a magnetic core, you can craft the magnet as follows:
You can toggle the magnet on and off by right-clicking while holding it. When the magnet is activated, it pulls items on the ground within a 32-block radius towards you. Each collected item reduces the magnet's durability while it is active. When the magnet breaks, it turns into a broken magnet.
To restore it, you can place it in a furnace or blast furnace to smelt the broken parts, and you will get a magnetic core again.
Future Plans
- More magnet variants are planned to be added to the mod (teasers: Ender Magnet, Crafting Magnet, ...)
- With the introduction of more variants, the durability and range of the base magnet will also change.
